In our fourth installment of our interview tasters for National Apprenticeship week, we speak to Louise Cairns, CEO of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink (NSAFD).
The NSAFD are the industry experts for skills in the Food & Drink sector and the industry’s voice on everything ranging from attracting new talent, early careers, apprenticeships, CPD and skills provision.
Louise has been with the NSAFD for over 14 years, spending the last 4 years as CEO. Louise has unparalleled knowledge and experience of the skills landscape in the food and drink sector and has been involved in the development of the standards most critical to the workforce of the future for food and drink. Beyond this Louise previously owned and ran her own training provider and has operated as a Skills Consultant to the food and drink sector for over a decade.
The NSAFD and Louise in particular are the go to for the latest information and advice for all things apprenticeship and skills related in the food and drink industry.
