OAL Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Wood Machining
This qualification is aimed at those who are employed by a range of business sectors to cut, shape and prepare materials providing component parts for their product range. These can include furniture, kitchens, garden furniture, sheds, fencing, interior skirtings etc, using CNC machinery, as well as all of the long-standing traditional machinery.
Typically, this qualification will suit the following employees:
• People recently employed in the industry who want to gain a sound foundation to the material, machinery and equipment that are central to the manufacturing process, to enable them to operate more effectively. Including Apprentices
• People who have been in the industry for some time who want to extend their knowledge and/or gain a recognised qualification.
